- Amumu's Q Stun cannot interrupt Poppy's E, but can follow her. However, Stun remains active. Note: If Poppy has W active, Amumu will be hit by Airborne while following.
- Amumu's R Stun can interrupt Poppy's E.
- Amumu's Q and R Stun can interrupt Poppy's R (channeling).
- Amumu's Q is affected by Poppy's E Knockback Stun, but can still move if the dash phase activates. However, damage is applied and Stun remains active.

- Poppy's W can interrupt Amumu's Q (dash phase), apply Grounded, and Airborne him.
- If Poppy's E and Amumu's Q collide, both take damage and CCs apply, but if Poppy Knockbacks Amumu into a wall, additional Stun is applied. However, Stun also remains on Poppy. Note: If Poppy has W active during the collision, Amumu is also hit by Grounded.

- •R cannot be used while Q is in flight
- •Q is split into two phases: throwing phase / dash phase. Even if hit by CC during the throwing phase, if the bandage connects, the dash phase activates and Amumu still moves. However, the CC remains active.
- •Q appears to have a maximum follow distance/time — roughly the distance between the 1st and 2nd mid lane towers.
- •There is a delay (wind-up) between pressing the R button and the skill being activated.
